World Atlas of Tea
I am a tea expert and author of the book World Atlas of Tea, which covers the life of tea from the leaf to the cup.
Custom blends
As Co-Founder & owner of my award-winning independent tea company Bird & Blend Tea Co. I wear many hats within my business. My alternative job title is Chief Tea Mixologist and I am the visionary behind our incredible tea innovation.
This also means I get to create custom blends for our partners and collaborators! So far, these include Shimmer for Yayoi Kusama Tate Modern, Candlelit Library for Ruby Granger, and the most recently launched Star of The Show for Carrie Hope Fletcher. Regenerative culture
Working in retail, I know that the buying and selling of goods can add to negative environmental effects. I want my business to be a part of a regenerative culture that gives back to the earth what it takes. In addition to ensuring all our consumer packaging is recyclable or compostable, we also work hard at minimising waste, utilising zero emissions delivery, using 100% green electricity energy and self generating electricity from solar panels at 'The Nest' our HQ & production centre.
I'm proud to be the co-founder of a B Corp certified company and to be part of a group of businesses that have pledged to use their company for good. People & planet have been and will remain at the heart of everything we do!
